Hello! I have a particular reason for starting this substack and it will be published next Monday at midday. Being new here, this short practice post seemed like good idea. If all goes well, I will publish further (occasional) essays, notes, recipes, links and updates on these pages There is also possibility that this note and Monday’s essay, are the only things I publish here, making it a long term car park for a particular piece of writing. I am hopeful though that I can find a way of being useful here. It is called a Pint of Rachel Roddy because is makes me, Rachel Roddy, easy to find, and because a pint feels like the right amount.
